LAUGHTER: THE BEST MEDICINE

i had been asked to give an estimate for some exterior painting at a grand old property in an up market part of town. the lady of the house invited me round to discuss it.

she sat me down, re-read the quote with a stern look on her face the said, " we would like you to undertake the work. however, there are items i must insist you do in your own time and at your own expense."

what's wrong ? i thought. have i over priced something?

she passed me the estimate. one of the lines, heavily underlined with red pen, read, "to wash and rub down all widows front and back."





"my husband is obsessed with his mother," a woman conplained to a friend.

"he visits her three times a day, rings her five times and even talks to her in his sleep."

"i think i know how to get him more interested in you," said the friend. "buy some sexy black lingerie, black stockings and black gloves."

the women took this advice and stood at the bedroom doorway as her husband came home that night. he looked at her and shrieked, " why are you dressed in black? OH NO! MY MOTHER HAS DIED!"




Bill and Sarah were having trouble with their memories, so they began writing things down. one day Sarah said to Bill, "would you mind getting me some ice cream?"

"no problem," Bill said, heading to the kitchen.

"you'd better write it down, or you'll forget," Sarah called after him.

"no, i won't," Bill replied. "it's ice cream. how hard can it be to remember that?"

a few minutes later Bill walked back into the lounge room carrying a tray with eggs, coffee, cereal and orange juice. Sarah sighed. "BILL I TOLD YOU TO WRITE IT DOWN!," she said. "NOW LOOK - YOU'VE FORGOTTEN THE TOAST."





Two lawyers walked into the office one Monday morning talking about their weekends. "I got a dog for my kids this weekend," said one.

The other attorney replied, "Good trade."




A young women was decribing her date to a friend. "After dinner he wanted to come back to my apartment, but i refused," she said. "I told him my mother would worry if i did anything like that."

"then what happened?" asked her friend.

"He kept insisting, and i kep refusing," the young women replied.

"he did't weaken your redolve, did he? the friend asked.

"Not a bit. In the end, we went back to his apartment. I figured, let his mother worry."

But it was after one o'clock by the time he arrived at the designated meeting plot. A masked man stepped from behind a bush and demanded, "You're three hours late. WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?"

"Give me a break!" said Winthrop, pointing to his scorecards. "I'm a 27 handicap."



By the time the morning service was to begin, only one man was in the church.

The minister said to him, "It looks like everyone has slept in. Do you want to go home or should i preach the sermon?"

The man replied, "When i go to feed the chickens and only one comes, I still feed it."

The minister took that as yes, mounted the pulpit and delivered an hour long sermon. At the end, he asked the man what he thought.

His answer: "When i go to feed the chickens and only one comes, I don't give it the whole Bucket!"



Farmer Joe is suing z trucking company over injuries he suffered in an car accident.

The company's lawyer begins his cross examination. "I's it true that at the accident scene you said, "I'm fine"?

"Let me explain," pleads the farmer. "I had loaded my mule Bessie into the trailer and was driving down the road when his truck crashed into us. I was hurt bad. When the policeman came on the scene, he heard Bessie moaning. He took one look at her, pulled out his gun and shot her right between the eyes.

"Then he walked over to me with his gun and asked, "Your mule was in such a bad shape i had to shoot her. How are you?"

WHY DOES HE KEEP TEXTING ME WHEN I'M NOT INTERESTED IN HIM? -

there are various explanations for this and all resolve around one fact: he thinks you are, or can be persuaded to be, interested.



some boys know when it's time to give up, or at least when they're on the verge of embarrassing themselves other's don't seem to have that threshold - they refuse to accept when they're beaten. these are the type of boys who grow up to be successful businessmen, recruitment consultants and stalkers.

LEO THE LION

the pure leo nevertheless has a commanding personality and always stands out from the crowd. He/she either dominates or if resisted, endeavours to dominate, not being afraid to try a little bullying. A leo is the pure extrovert, outgoing, sociable and determined to be the life and soul of the party. If there isnt a party, or the party wants to go its own way and avoid being bossed about by the leo who wants to take it over, that leo will either become bad tempered or withdraw into a sulk. This sounds rather tiresome but, as a matter of fact, most pisceans are immensely kindly and loving people. The most strongly negative aspect of the piscean personality is a tendency to be excessively influenced by others. If u meet an unpleasant piscean (almost a contradiction in terms), he/she is almost certainly a tool of someone else. The piscean is intrinsically a thoroughly decent person, and if he/she behaves in a cruel or unpleasant way, you can be reasonably sure that the piscean in question is being manipulated and is not acting in accordance with his/her basic feelings.

balance everything, to believe that something is wrong if one side of the scales that symbolize the libran personality is more heavily weighted than the other, extends beyond money values, librans tend to have balanced and moderate political and religious views, to like pleasure and luxury but to reject debauchery and greed, to eat enough to be neither fat nor thin, to take moderate amount of exercise, and so on. if, however, the psychological balance of a pure libran is tipped strongly to one side or the other of the scales, he/she can become very extreme indeed. when this happens it is as a result of persuasion by others - librans are easily influenced.

As they are themselves so loyal, Cancerians are badly wounded if others are disloyal to them. their reaction is almost always to withdraw, like crab into it's shell, rather than to attempt to revenge themselves on those who have hurt them.

GEMINI THE TWINS

Gemini is a double sign and a certain duality is apparent in the pure Geminean. There is an ambivalence, a shifting outlook, which makes Gemineans delightful in their unexpectedness, but irritating in their inconsistency. Gemineans are often exasperating but they can be relied upon not to be boring. A pure Geminean is person



with whom it is almost impossible to argue for any length of time. His/her mind is so subtle, moving ahead like quicksilver, that one can never be quite sure what one is arquing about. ARIES THE RAM

the choleric psychology of the Arian often begins to find expression in early childhood, sometimes in temper tantrums, more often in a precocious adventurousness and spirit of enquiry. in later life these childish characteristics take the form of an "outgoing practically" - a concern with the nuts and bolts aspects of reality rather than its theoretical concepts. in other words, the Arian is concerned with tactics rather than strategy. this does not mean that the Arian is not intellectual; but Arian intellectualism is rarely divorced from the world of everyday things.

the Arian judges others by their deeds, not their words; is concerned with the effects of others action, not their purposes; and is determined to influenced what actually happens, not analyse it. the Arian wants to control reality - not to be controlled by it or to understand it. careers which are not in some way concerned with material reality provide little satisfaction to the Arian. his or her job must be concerned with the control of natural things and/or other people.

manipulation, whether of things of people, is an Arian characteristic. in other words, they bare good at moulding clients to the Arian pattern and setting them on the right path - in Arian terms. the pure Arian, for the same reason, makes a better leader than a follower; he or she is not an ideal team worker because Arians are incapable of understanding the need for self expression in anyone but themselves.

in general, Arians make better innovators than administrators. they are better at starting a project off than keeping it running; better at - metaphorically speaking - launching a ship than sailing it. in work, as in all aspects of their lives, they are forceful, finding it difficult to cope tactfully with either active opposition or the passive opposition of inertia.

how are you all doin tonite? yea sunyi betul lah malam ni , rasa seram plak duduk sorang2 kat dlm bilik, manatau kot2 ada benda kat tepi hehehhe nway ada sesiapa kat sini yang minat tengok ceta ghost hunter tak? aku dah beli dah season one sampai season 3...voring betul plak nak tunggu season 4 ni i think belum ada lagi kat pasaran. tak sabo2 nak tengok le, bagi sape2 yang minat sangat tengok ceta misteri dan hal berkenaan nak tangkap hantu, atau dengar suara hantu kat evp ..u all buy lah dvd ghost hunter tu, i dont think they're faking it coz mostly they try to convince or investigate first before saying that the place is hunted . for all the case that they investigate only 20% of them is hunted and the rest is just ..um u know normal place where nothing weird happens, no ghost, no evp . but really guys..some of the footage really creeps me out , like shadow , some ghostly image or ghost voice in evp.., just try and see it for urself...
